Stern & Wild client helms new series based on legendary Frost interviews

Congratulations to Stern & Wild filmmaker Matt Hill, one of the directors of a major new docuseries The Frost Tapes (w/t), unveiled by Sky today. The six-part series aims to chart almost half a century of social, political and cultural change “through the eyes of the one man who had a front-row seat to it all: Sir David Frost.” 

Drawing from Frost’s archive of over 10,000 interviews and with contributions from a range of contemporary commentators, the series explores important moments of the late 20th century and their enduring relevance today. Each episode is anchored around Frost’s interviews with one key personality “from explosive encounters with Muhammad Ali discussing race to a forensic look at the infamous Nixon tapes, outtakes and all.” Current contributors include Liam Neeson, Joanna Lumley, Khalilah Ali, Michael Sheen and Tony Blair.

The series is a Sky Studios production made in collaboration with David Frost’s son Wilfred, with Frost’s Paradine Productions and White Horse Pictures as co-producers. It will air in two parts of three 45-minute episodes each later this year.
