Let’s hear it for these Stern & Wild clients

Screen star and 22Summers founder Idris Elba gave a big shout out to the October Films production team on Erased: WW2’s Heroes of Colour at last Saturday’s sell-out Sheffield DocFest Nat Geo Spotlight session. Three of the team are Stern & Wild filmmakers: Johanna Gibbon, Executive Producer, Annabel Hobley, Co-Executive Producer and Alex Thomas, Director.

A highlight of this year’s festival (12-17 June), the session saw key members of the creative team talk about the challenges of bringing the four-part series to the screen and the success they achieved in revealing the untold stories of some of the eight million soldiers of colour who fought for the Allies during the Second World War. The Nat Geo series was exec produced and narrated by Elba and produced by October Films in collaboration with 22Summers. To watch the series, click here.
