Stern & Wild filmmakers bring Camden music scene to the screen

Posted 23 May 2024: Stern & Wild has two clients in key roles on Camden, a major new four-part docuseries for Disney+ dropping next week. Exec produced by singer/songwriter Dua Lipa, it explores how the lives and careers of some of music’s biggest stars were influenced by the London borough. The series is produced by Lightbox in association with Day One Pictures, the production company founded by Amy Winehouse’s original manager Nick Shymansky, and Lipa’s Radical22. Asif Kapadia is Series Director. Stern & Wild’s Toby Trackman is an Episode Director with the agency’s Chris Wilson as Editor.

Award-winning indie opens for business in London

Posted 23 May 2024: Congratulations to Stern & Wild filmmaker Camilla Hall on the opening of a London office for her production company Lady & Bird Films which she co-founded alongside Jennifer Tiexiera and Rita Baghdadi in 2018. The new UK base for the prize-winning indie is in addition to its original Los Angeles hub. We wish the whole team at Lady & Bird Films the best of luck with the new set-up and look forward to an exciting roster of UK-based projects.

Stern & Wild filmmakers helm Twitter docuseries for CNN

Stern & Wild filmmakers Fred Hepburn and Kate Quine are working on the upcoming CNN Original Series Breaking Bird: The Rise and Fall of Twitter (w/t), a four-part docuseries charting the history of the social media platform from its creation in 2006 to its multi-billion dollar sale in 2022. The series is a co-production with the BBC. Fred Hepburn will serve as showrunner on the project with Kate Quine as series director.
