Stern & Wild filmmaker directs real-life X-Files project for Netflix Halloween season
A gripping three-part docuseries from new Stern & Wild client Vivienne Perry and BAFTA winner Daniel Vernon is set to premiere on Netflix on 30 October as part of the streamer’s spooky season, Netflix and Chills. The Manhattan Alien Abduction is billed as the true story behind one of ufology’s greatest mysteries: the claim that in 1989 a 49-year-old New York housewife was witnessed – and filmed – floating upwards from her apartment to a brightly glowing UFO accompanied by three aliens.
The series is produced by Story Films, the UK indie behind last year’s Netflix series Hell Camp: Teen Nightmare. Vivienne is director with Daniel as series director. Check out the trailer here.
