Sampson Collins’ series on Man United’s historic treble-winning season launches on Amazon Prime

Manchester United documentary 99, helmed by Stern & Wild’s own Sampson Collins, is set to launch on Amazon Prime on Friday 17 May. The three-part docuseries explores the final days of the 1998/99 campaign which saw the team achieve the first treble in English football history, winning the Premier League, UEFA Champions League and FA Cup. The story is brought to the screen by the RTS-winning and Grierson-nominated filmmaker using never-before-seen archive footage and behind-the-scenes video from the club and fans, and features candid interviews with manager Sir Alex Ferguson and legendary players including David Beckham, Gary Neville, Teddy Sheringham and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
