Marcus Liversedge is an Emmy winning director who works across premium documentary, reality, comedy, drama and music. As well as long form television he is a highly successful director of commercials and music promos. His work puts an emphasis on bold, stylish storytelling with cinematic visuals. He has delivered to Netflix, Apple, Amazon, CBS, Paramount+, NBC, MTV, History Channel, Discovery and all the UK terrestrials as a single, multi camera and studio director. Marcus’s hallmark is his ability to unleash the power of real storytelling to captivate audiences across film and television. He has honed his craft through experience and developed a unique creative vision with actors and technical teams. A combination that sets him apart.

Recently he directed on Ep 1 of the new Appletv+ Carpool Karaoke series where James Corden hands over to Zane Lowe. Starring Dua Lipa, Chappell and Lady Gaga. Further recent work includes an upcoming travelogue show with Alison Hammond (BBC May 2025) An Evening with Dua Lipa (ITV/CBS) directing all the documentary elements and interviews, the 6 x Emmy Nominated Home for Christmas with Hannah Waddingham for Apple TV+ where Liversedge directed comedy scenes with Ted Lasso actors; Jason Sudeikis, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, Nick Mohammed. Directing premium talent in a documentary setting is a signature of Marcus’s work and he has collaborated with stars of film, music and comedy. He was one of the first directors to work with Big Zuu (Director Series 1 Big Zuu Big Eats) saw Jack Whitehall become a dad (Fatherhood with My Father for Netflix) got Harry HiIl and Lorraine Kelly to brush up their history (Great British Obsessions for History) and earlier in his career sent Henry Cavill and Adrien Brody off on an extreme driving adventure (Driven to Extremes, Discovery ) He is also well known for his work with stars in the reality space and directed early series of the BAFTA winning TOWIE for ITV.

Stunts, pranks and hidden cameras are another signature of Marcus’s work. For The Brits 22’ he devised and directed a complex stunt that included host Mo Gilligan and 50 cyclists. And not forgetting one of his most viewed films to date Adele at the BBC which featured a group of lookalike Adeles being pranked by the real Adele. It has nearly 84 million views on Youtube.

Other big music projects include Niall Horan for Apple TV + , Harry Styles at the BBC How do you Solve and Problem Like Maria (BBC) which won Marcus an International Emmy

Marcus has also directed and exec produced ten independent short drama films and over a hundred commercials in the UK and U.S. Creating a style that searches for a ‘real dramatic look’ with script and improvisation. Best known is Ticket starring Jorden Myrie and Daniel De Burgh which was part of the official selection at many of the world's highest profile festivals.

His commercial work includes campaigns for Budweiser, EE, Samsung, Diageo, HSBC, Sainsburys, Warner Brothers, Virgin Media, Baileys, Swarovski, Ariel Automatic, Cadburys, Chevrolet/Manchester United. Kelloggs, American Eagle, McDonalds, Amazon Prime, Durex, Green King Beers and Google (shot live during Superbowl 50)
