Katie is a highly-skilled, empathetic and inquisitive Series Director. She excels at crafting premium films that challenge perceptions, delivering powerful narratives with emotional depth. Whether she’s directing A-list talent or fostering trust with sensitive contributors, Katie approaches each project with versatility, passion, care and integrity. Her work spans both broadcast and branded documentaries.

Recently, Katie directed House of Kardashian for Sky Documentaries, a series that explored the rise of the influential Kardashian family. It delved into their impact on culture, power, and the world at large. Prior to that, she helmed Rise of the Billionaires for Paramount+, a sophisticated series that elegantly and analytically wove the personal and business histories of the world’s most influential tech billionaires.

Katie’s earlier work as a producer includes the acclaimed Jimmy Savile: A British Horror Story for Netflix, where she deftly navigates the sensitive access and storytelling to bring the story to a new, global audience. Katie brings a strong journalistic approach to her storytelling, evident in Panorama: Can Violent Men Change?, an RTS-nominated investigation into programmes aimed at preventing domestic abusers from reoffending, for which Katie secured unprecedented access.

In 2018, Katie was named a Broadcast Hot Shot Director and was included in the Edinburgh TV Festival’s Ones to Watch cohort in 2019.

Additionally, Katie has directed and produced numerous branded documentaries for digital platforms. Notably, she worked on multiple films for The Balvenie, including the Craftsman’s Dinner Series presented by Michel Roux Jr. in the UK and Anthony Bourdain in the USA. She also directed impactful short campaign films for the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust, which earned her personal gratitude from Baroness Doreen Lawrence for their success.
