Christian is a documentary filmmaker who specialises in character led, observational storytelling. Building trust and finding humour are key to his work. Recently he stepped into the political arena as the Brexit chaos played out with C4’s feature length “Farage: The Man Who Made Brexit” and by Series Producing and Directing C4’s three part “Carry On Brussels”.
With 2 Grierson Nominations - ‘The Secret World Of Lego’ and ‘Obsessive Compulsive Hoarder’ (which was also C4’s highest rated doc of the year with 4.1m), Christian has over 15 years directing experience. He also has an eclectic factual TV background: from filming water buffalo racing in Indonesia to landing in Baghdad’s Green Zone with Jon Snow, swapping wives in the USA and shooting super cars and super yachts in the Med... as well as avoiding arrest in the slums of Lagos and exec’ing formats in Moscow. Christian has managed large multi camera productions, self-shot films over many months and has strong working relationships with some of the industry’s top DOPs and crews. He originates and develops ideas from scratch and has independently gained a number of prime-time commissions.
