Kate is a multi award-winning and Emmy nominated series editor/series edit producer of premium non scripted series and feature films. Her credits range from the Emmy nominated drama doc series Wanted: The Escape of Carlos Ghosn (Apple TV), the acclaimed archive driven Murder in the Family: Cheryl Hooper (ITVX), Emmy winning series Drive to Survive, and the Netflix hit Sunderland 'till I Die.

Creatively Kate enjoys building narratives from scratch in the edit and creating gripping, cinematic storylines often out of problem edits. She has a track record of team building and developing workflows for teams of editors, edit assistants, loggers and graphics. Kate enjoys collaboration immensely, and has experience managing multiple teams across multiple edits.

Kate’s work draws on many years’ experience as a primetime producer-director in the field, and in the edit, telling access-led character led stories. These range from crafted one-off observational documentaries and series to popular factual entertainment formats and interactive documentaries. She deploys many of her producing and directing skills in the edit, and has extensive experience managing compliance heavy series and multiple stakeholders. She has had a commissioning-facing role on the majority of her recent projects, and has been responsible for winning pitches, re-shaping series and pioneering new formats.
